This video takes clients for a behind the scenes look at iJET’s Global Integrated Operations. The challenge of this job was shooting video in their network operations center, which is a large open space. There were four different types of light sources, all with different color temperatures; outdoors (8K), fluorescent (4K), incandescent (3K), and computer monitors (6K). With a limited lighting and grip budget, the solution was to “fix it in post”. Our Avid Symphony editing software features secondary color correction which allows global color correction along with the ability to change individual colors. The project also incorporated key components of stock and supplied footage from iJET on the ground operations which required seamless integration with our newly color corrected footage. This example is a side-by-side comparison of the raw footage on the left and the color corrected footage on the right. Color correction and film effect filters are key to making your video have that broadcast look.
