Take One Digital Media Employee Chairs Technology Campaign for the Homeless

Annapolis, MD – October 21, 2010

Annapolis, MD – October 21, 2010– Liz Thibodeau, Account Manager at Take One Digital Media and Chairperson of the Chesapeake Regional Technology Councils Social Media Marketing Committee, announces the completion and success of her campaign “Tech Out the Light House”. The month long campaign raised $6,000 in cash, $4,000 in equipment, and countless volunteer hours for support and install for the new Light House Homeless Prevention and Support Center in Annapolis, MD. Liz is also on the shelter’s Capital Campaign Committee and has been working for the last few years to raise the funds needed to build the shelter. The new facility, with the help of its sponsoring organization, Annapolis Area Ministries, Inc., opened its doors this week and now serves an estimated 1,500 people per year and provides more programs for homeless people, including financial literacy workshops, job training, legal counseling, and employment referrals. The larger facility enables the Light House to offer a new beginning to the hundreds of people who fall into homelessness in our community each year.
