Dan Dingus

Interactive Director

In an industry where a successful fusion of technology and design is de rigueur, Dan Dingus is a star. He built his career with various interactive and ad agencies in Baltimore, becoming a nationally awarded Web designer for his work with Black & Decker, PGA Tour, and McGraw-Hill.

Here at Take One, the only true measure of our own success is the end-user’s success. That’s why Dan ensures that his deep technical know-how and creative design skills are never allowed to trump usability. And in a field often dominated by prima donnas, Dan is that rare exception: a designer who can happily accommodate client suggestions while continuing to dazzle with a fresh approach that turns out to be just what the client was looking for!

Dan combines extensive knowledge of Motion Graphics, DVD authoring, HTML, CSS, Flash, and JavaScript with a contemporary design aesthetic that will perpetuate Take One’s tradition of keeping our clients at the forefront of their respective industries.

Sheldon Drake

Animator | Motion Graphics

Sheldon Drake’s motion graphics and 3D work has a fluid, natural feel that sets it apart from most animation, which by contrast seems artificial and under-developed. It’s this quality, along with his ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality, that keeps Sheldon in high demand.

An alumnus of the prestigious Cooper Union (BFA ’89) in Manhattan's East Village, Sheldon has taught Abobe After Effects at several colleges, including MICA and NYU. Sheldon lived in New York City for nearly 20 years and worked for a wide variety of clients and production shops, including Sony, sputnik7, and Curious Pictures.

Besides being a fine artist, Sheldon is also an active disc jockey (in the genre of experimental techno—a field replete with its own animated subjects for whom smoothness and fluidity are not necessarily a primary consideration!).
